Question
The goal of mobileTumblr was to explore how to update Tumblr even more quickly on the go.
Answer
mobileTumblr is prototype software that allows a Tumblr feed to be updated via a text message.
Process
mobileTumblr was a fun and quick programming experiment. With the power of the Sydewynder Python Library, which enables a S60 mobile phone to be a SMS server, I leveraged the Tumblr API to be able to update a Tumblr feed through a simple text message. As a demonstration of the software, I set up a blog and invited 90 classmates during a class to send updates in real time.
